Finance for young entrepreneurs
Development Bank of Namibia provides finance for qualifying young entrepreneurs (aged 36 and below) to develop Namibia's next generation of entrepreneurs and create employment.
The Bank's specific products for young entrepreneurs are:
- Skills-based finance for young artisans (NQF3 and up)
- Skills based finance for young professionals (NQF7 and up)
Young entrepreneurs who do not qualify for skills-based finance are encouraged to apply for SME finance.
Collateral
- Applications for young artisans finance and young professionals finance are accepted without collateral in the event of qualification for loans. However assets financed under these facilities may be converted to collateral at the request and sole discretion of the Bank.
- Collateral is considered on a case-by-case basis
- Collateral may also include:
- Third party guarantees
- Assets financed by the Bank may qualify as collateral
